GWEEDO MEMORIAL FOUNDATION

THE ARC OF GREATER WILLIAMSBURG

With our completely anonymous reporting process, our goal is to make it simple, quick and absolutely confidential to report concerns regarding instances of unsafe driving, illegal activities, bullying, and more. We hope to give power to students, community members and individuals who wish to act without fear of repercussion or judgement.

We created this platform in loving memory of Joseph Conner Williams Guido—affectionately known as “Gweedo” by his friends—who tragically lost his life at just 16 years old in a car crash on October 26, 2019. This site exists to give teens and community members a safe, anonymous way to speak up when they witness something concerning—whether it’s reckless driving, bullying, drug use, or any other dangerous behavior.

Our hope is that by removing the fear of retaliation, more people will choose to act—and in doing so, prevent tragedies before they happen.

Your voice could save a life. It could have saved his.

ADHD and Driving

ADHD is a neurodevelopmental condition associated with inattention, hyperactivity, and impulsivity. These symptoms put ADHD teens and adults at heightened risk for motor vehicle crashes. Researchers have found that those with ADHD are more likely to become distracted, which leads to preventable car accidents. In the interest of public safety, Shamieh Law has compiled this guide to ADHD and driving.

Tobias's 6th Birthday

You are all cordially invited to join us in celebration of our community friend Tobias. He will be turning 6 and loves Hot Wheels! There will be music, food, karaoke, and friends! This is a FREE event and is open to the public! Help us bridge communities with love and laughter! Remember, many people who have special needs or live with disabilities never get the opportunity to be invited to parties or make many friends. We invite you to come connect with our amazing special needs and disabled community — because inclusion starts with simple moments shared together!
