The Sandy Rico Foundation is proud to announce our Disability Pride Month event, July 12th from 1-5PM!

What is Disability Pride:
Disability Pride Month is a time to celebrate the identities, experiences, and contributions of people with disabilities while promoting visibility, acceptance, and equal rights. It also commemorates the signing of the ADA which prohibits the discrimination against individuals with disabilities.
This is a FREE event and is open to the public! Help us bridge communities with love and laughter! We invite you to come connect with our amazing special needs and disabled community — because inclusion starts with simple moments shared together!
What to Expect:
Meet with characters such as Moana, Maui, Ariel, and Ursula! Visit our special guests Boo the therapy cockatoo, the singing Mermaid Moonflower and Blackbeard's Pirates
Educational Tables:
The Virginia Marine and Science Museum (Live Animals), York River State Park Ambassador and our recycling table with information and a make your own recycled craft option.

Beers and gears car show July 19th
We are pleased to announce that we have been selected to receive the proceeds from this year's Beers and Gears Car Show. We invite you to join us for a fun-filled day of vendors, cars, and raffles, and to take the opportunity to meet with new friends. We look forward to seeing many of our community friends and supporters at this event. Details can be found at the link below!

Pampered Chef Virtual Fundraiser Aug.4th-11th
Party with a Purpose: A Fundraiser for The Sandy Rico Foundation
Anything you spend, a percentage goes back to The Sandy Rico Foundation! This is an all-virtual event. We're going to come together and share great recipes, play games, chat it up and shop till you drop! Pampered Chef is all about working smarter not harder so come on in and play with us! You're sure to find things that will help you in the kitchen so you can make your own nutritious, delicious meals at a fraction of the energy and time!
Invite your friends, invite your neighbors! The more the merrier! We're going to pamper her the way she deserves!

Tobias's 6th Birthday Party Aug. 16th
You are all cordially invited to join us in celebration of our community friend Tobias. He will be turning 6 and loves Hot Wheels! There will be music, food, karaoke, and friends!
